BONITA SPRINGS, Fla. — The "Masque-For-Aid" outdoor fundraising event supports children at the Garduilo Education Center. The children have been working to create 100 beautiful masks that were part of a special outdoor fundraiser on Monday.

The Garduilo Education Center serves disadvantaged, low-income, and at-risk children and families in our community, including many from our migrant population.

The Centers for the Arts, Bonita Springs, also helped with the masks which were sold to donors.

The Masque-For-Aid event was held on Monday, March 29, from 4 to 6 p.m., at Riverside Park in Bonita Springs.

FOX 4's Patrick Nolan emceed, and the event featured live performances from children of the center, saxophonist Yasel Barrera, and culminated with a performance from Ben Allen, a resident of Estero and finalist on the hit show “The Voice!”
